We introduce the new BK726!

All good things come in threes: Our recently introduced technical innovations, the BB9000 drilling excavator and the BR8010 drilling crawler, are now joined by a new type of drilling rig: The drill crane. The BK726 is the first drill crane from Morath that has been optimized for drilling applications and is available as a basic or complete unit.

The 160 kW drill crane is a telescopic loader optimized for drilling applications with a rotating upper carriage and automatic leveling support. One advantage of combining the telescopic loader and add-on drilling unit in one machine is that all work can be done by just one system, especially on slope construction sites with large heights. The machine is suitable for various applications in the field of crane, drilling and shotcrete work.

Among other optimization measures on the drill crane, the more powerful hydraulic system with additional oil cooling is to be highlighted in particular. It enables power-intensive attachments, such as a hammer drill, to be operated directly with the hydraulics of the drill crane without any additional supply being required. The hydraulic hoses are automatically routed parallel along the boom via a hose reel. Thus, the hoses are always close to the boom which significantly reduces the risk of getting them caught in the surrounding area. This allows a quick set up of the drilling site. The available dust extraction system on the drill crane, together with the specially developed extraction tube on the boom, ensures dust-reduced working at large heights.

Various add-on drilling units are available for drilling applications, depending on the intended application. A drill mount especially developed for the drill crane is the lightweight and compact BT242 in combination with the telescopic Tele-Jib HTJxx which provides access to drilling sites at many different height levels and slopes. To ensure more safety and operating comfort, the drill crane is equipped with a radio remote control for setting up, driving and supporting the drill crane, including the add-on drilling unit:
