High-tech milling machine: Morath sets new standards in production

At Morath GmbH, we are pleased to provide our employees with a state-of-the-art workplace and the best work equipment. One example of this is our new milling machine, the DMF 300/8 from DMG Mori.

The new high-tech machine in our production hall, with its five axes and a travel distance in the x-axis of 3000 mm, enables constant milling performance and the machining of highly complex geometries. The 24.5 t machine has been delivered and is now in place. A mobile crane from Zimmermann Autokrane GmbH & Co KG carefully lifted it off the truck and the team from Rinderknecht Maschinen- und Industrieumzüge GmbH placed it precisely in our production hall. This investment was made in order to better fulfil future customer requirements in terms of quality, speed and larger component dimensions. We are looking forward to raising our productivity and precision to a new level with the DMF 300/8.
