Evolution in Morath crawler drills: BR8010

A success story continues. After revision of the BR8000 drilling crawler, available since 2007, we now can present the new generation: BR8010.

The outstanding strengths of the BR8010 include the specially developed kinematics of the boom, which allows to use the drill at a large operating range with compact equipment dimensions. The optimal coordination of the boom with the telescopic drilling rig enables the operator to drill holes even in very tight and angled situations that require the high drilling performance of the BR8010. The largest Morath drill rig is powered by a powerful 115 kW Stage V diesel engine with three hydraulic pumps. The robust design with a weight of 14.5 t guarantees high stability and reliability of the machine.

Multiple features allow an easier, a safer and more economical work with the drilling crawler. Simple and fast changing of the drill drive is achieved with the newly developed quick coupler. Safe working is made possible by the complete control of the drilling crawler by the radio remote control FFS 610. Small details such as the integrated high-pressure cleaner or the refueling pump make it easier to work with the drilling crawler and turn it into a next-generation drilling rig.
