BAFA 2009 Market Incentive Programme (MAP)
Since 2009 the Federal Ministry of Economics and Export Control (BAFA) has provided funding for the installation and conversion of a heat pump heating system. In order for this to pay off for the homeowner, by filing an application he can recover part of the cost of installing a heating system with heat pumps.
KfW programme "Renewable Energies"
In addition to the BAFA grants, which are paid only after completion of the installation, the Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau or KfW ("Reconstruction Loan Corporation") supports the homeowner before installation of the heat pump. The KfW offers two programmes: one for refurbishers and one for home builders.
