Drilling unit attachments

Morath drilling unit attachments allow a variety of economic uses and combine many advantages such as:

  • The reduction in transport costs through multiple uses of the excavator on location at the building site. Thus, for example, the excavations, anchoring, and any shotcrete work necessary can be carried out with just one excavator as a universal carrier device.
  • The minimisation of the financial risk with a new acquisition, because often carrier equipment from the existing machine park can be used, and thus only the drilling unit needs to be purchased.
  • The minimisation of downtime costs if drilling is not required all year round, because the excavator can still be used conventionally.

Because of the design differences the drilling unit attachments are divided into two categories.

  • Excavator attachments [BA] for crawler, wheeled and road-rail excavators
  • Walking excavator attachments [SA] for walking excavators
